04 Collection / Things kept

Collection

Films, cities, sounds, and places form an unfinished personal index.

01 Film 2020 — 2025
A cinematic dining room at dusk with an empty table and a closing door

The Godfather Trilogy

Three films unfold like one long dusk.

Family begins as a place of return, then becomes the reason behind every choice.

People draw close to power in the name of loyalty, and lose one another while trying to protect it.

They preserve the family name, but lose the people who once made it a home.

02 City 2019 — 2026
A quiet London street held in soft rain and muted evening light

London

London rarely hurries to become somewhere else.

It leaves time in its buildings, its streets, and the order repeated across generations.

The city changes slowly; over the years, I have learned the shape of its boundaries.

Perhaps steadiness is simply knowing that certain things will still be there tomorrow.

03 Music 2020 —
A solitary gramophone beside a late-night bar in a cinematic future city

One for My Baby

After midnight, the world finally grows quiet.

Sinatra’s voice drifts slowly through the ruins of the future.

It does not dispel solitude; it gives solitude a cadence of its own.

Two thousand five hundred and seventy-eight plays later, the night has yet to repeat itself.

04 Place
A snow-covered street in Tromsø as the blue hour gives way to warm window light

Tromsø

Night receives the blue hour; the windows receive the last of the sky.

Snow lies across the ground without melting or making a sound.

The town keeps its slow order inside the cold.

As long as the snow remains, time seems reluctant to move forward.

05 Home
A softly blurred room prepared for someone returning home

The Room

The longer I am away, the more the room becomes a quiet form of evidence.

It is made ready again and again, not to preserve it unchanged, but to give my absence somewhere to rest.

Elsewhere, I have learned to call many places home.

Only here do I understand: home is where someone never mistook my leaving for goodbye.
